We hope you all are enjoying the very mild winter that we have had thus far! Why not celebrate the warm weather with the Duke's Men? We will be having three public concerts in the next couple of weeks. We would love to see you there!! Here are the times and locations of our upcoming concerts:

Winter Tour to Florida!

We hope you all are having a great holiday season! The Duke's Men are headed to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on our annual winter tour. We will be having three (yes, I said three!) public concerts in the South Florida area! Here are the dates and locations of our three performances:

Parent's Weekend 2011

We will be having our annual Parent's Weekend Concert with Mixed Company in the Branford Dining Hall on Saturday, October 29th. We will have two shows: one at 8:30 and another at 10:15. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults in advance. Door prices are $6 for students and $12 for adults, so get your tickets now! Duke's Men Singing Dessert 2011

The Duke's Men of Yale are hosting their annual singing dessert in the Saybrook Dining Hall this Wednesday, September 14th. Come watch us premier two brand new arrangements of songs by ADELE and JUSTIN BIEBER! Food will be served at 9:00 PM on the terrace, and the concert will begin at 9:30. Free admission. Formal attire requested.

The big a cappella jamboree is happening this Friday, September 2nd, in Dwight Hall on Old Campus. Come hear the groups perform one last time before auditions this weekend! Sign ups for auditions are at the end of the concert.
Voices Only 2011

The Duke's Men have been selected to be on the "Voices Only 2011" a cappella compilation album with "Your Move": Solo by Reuben Hendler and arranged by Paul Holmes. This means we have been featured on the three main national a cappella compilation albums: "Sing 7", "Boca 2011", and now "Voices Only 2011." Congrats guys!!

Seattle Public Performance

The Duke's Men will be having a public concert at Seattle's Town Hall on Friday, January 7th starting at 8:00 PM. Admission is $5 for students and $10 for adults. Join us for a night of great music! CDs will be on sale at the performance.

ICCA Finals

The Duke's Men came in 4th place at the ICCA Finals at Lincoln Center. We were so happy to be able to perform with so many other fantastic singers. Congratulations to 1st place winners Fermata Nowhere and all the other groups who competed, it was quite a show!
CARA Award Runner-Up

Ben Wexler's arrangement of Rihanna's "Umbrella" on our album "What a Trip" was honored as the Runner Up for Best Male Collegiate Arrangement in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) by the Contemporary A Cappella Society. Congratulations Ben!
ICCA Semifinals

The Duke's Men took first place at the ICCA Semifinal round for the Northeast division at MIT! Click here to read a review of the concert. Our first place performance qualified us to compete in the final round in Lincoln Center on April 18th. We're positively thrilled and deeply honored to be representing the Northeast in the International Finals; we hope to see you there!
CARA Shortlist

The Contemporary A Cappella Society has just announced its shortlists for the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA). We're excited to report that the Duke's Men's latest album, "What A Trip!" is in the top 10 competing for the title of 2009 Best Male Collegiate Album!
ICCA Quarterfinals at BU

The Duke's Men competed and placed first in the Quarterfinal round of the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella at Boston University. Sam Tsui (DC '11) also received awards for Outstanding Soloist on "What a Good Boy" and Outstanding Choreography on "Umbrella." Our win at BU means that we'll be moving on to the Semi-final round at M.I.T. on March 21st!
Winter Tour 2009

The Duke's Men just got back from a whirlwind tour of sunny Atlanta, Georgia! We saw the sights, we sang our songs, we drank our bodyweight in sweet tea, a good time was had by all. Now it's back to the grindstone as we pick our classes and start the new semester back home at Yale.
